Luc and I have started packing, the house is a complete disaster. It feels weird packing up. We've been in Korea for almost a year. We have so much here. We're packing for our trip to Southeast Asia, and it is so hard trying to figure out what I'm going to need for three weeks and fitting that into one backpack. I know I'm going to forget something, but as Luc keeps telling me, we can buy it there. That is true. I'm probably going to have to buy another bag along the way just for the things I will acquire. I like to buy things. We are trying to sell some of our things, like bookshelves, and stereos. Some has gone, but there is still a lot to go. It is amazing how much we (I, really) have bought since being here.
I'm am looking forward to coming home. It is time. I'm needed back home, as well. This has been a great experience, but it's time.
Thank you everyone who supported us coming out here, and pushing us to do so.
We leave Sunday to go to Busan, and Monday we fly to Vietnam. I'll be trying to upload my pictures and blog when I can. We're not sure about anything that we're doing over there, so it could get interesting.
We're back home to Canada on December 13th, one month away!! Ahs sah! (That means Hurray!)

Your Dad and I really overpacked for our trip to South Korea and Thailand. You only need your Mexican style skirt, a couple pair of shorts, some T-shirts and tank tops, underwear and minimal toiletries and make-up. Also 2 pair of sandals, walking shoes and a hat. Lots of t-shirts, etc. to be found in shops. Towels supplied at most hotels. Take clothes that dry fast so you can wash out things in hotel. Also take clothes that rollup well for packing and don't hold the wrinkles. Something for rain...umbrella and light jacket.
Have fun and send emails home...Thailand is full of internet places.
Love you,
MOM
Dear Erin & Luc: Thought we should take the time to Wish you "Happy Birthday Luc". Mom might have mentioned that we made a deposit in your Bank Account for when you return. Sounds like an exciting trip you have planned before you leave. It has been great for us to be able to follow along on your journey. Erin you have done a great job of sharing all your experiences, you made us laugh. The kids will miss you and Luc. It has been a learning experience for us too. We are looking forward to your return. Today Mom & Dad should be arriving home today, that will be exciting also. Take care and stay healthy and safe. Love from Nannie & Grandad xxx oooo
Wow, I can't believe you'll be back in just 4 short weeks, where has the time gone? Can hardly wait to see you. In the meantime, enjoy your trip and keep the blogs and pictures coming when you get a chance. I've so enjoyed reading your posts for the last year. The down side of you returning of course is that now I'll have to give up custody of the computer, printer and scanner that I've been caring for so lovingly for the last year. Better save my $'s I guess 'cause I'll have to buy my own now.
Have a great time on your trip and I'll see you on the 13th in Kelowna!
All my love
Aunty Janet
Erin & Luc,
We are all very excited about you returning home- can't wait to see you both. it has been very interesting going into your blog and reading about your experiences. Alex is excited about her cousin coming home, and I believe both her and Shannon have volunteered you for speaking engagements in their classes. Have a wonderful trip and see you soon.
Love
Uncle Moe, Auntie Joe & Alexandra
