Sweet Relief

I am sooooo ecstatic. Oh my flubbabkejhak -.

I got my China pictures back. Neal downloaded some program and recovered all my pictures.

Holy mother, I cried. I'm so happy. They are backed up like there is no tomorrow. That memory card is the devil.

Well Neal is definately a super hero!!! Thank him for me cuz now you can post (and email to me for scrapbooking) some more fabulous pictures of China!

We are having such nice weather and it is making up for August which was mostly rain (especially on weekends!). It is supposed to be 29 degrees celcius today. Dad is just back from Nanaimo and Victoria meeting mall people so we have another exciting(???!!!) weekend of cleaning and testing equipment. Robyn is playing ball at Softball City so Aunty Kathy and Aunty Jo drove her down.

Sunday is the Aids Walk so all the family will be helping out. Dad is taking the team photos again this year. You will be missed!!!

You're sounding just a wee bit excited there Miss Erin. Glad you got your pictures back and I'm looking foward to seeing some of them on your blog or you can email some to me.

I just emailed you a couple of pictures from the Kelowna Dragon Boat Festival held last weekend. The weather was glorious this year, unlike last year when we got blown off the lake on the second day.

On Monday night the team went for a moonlight paddle, unbelievably fabulous. We put our "running lights" on the front and back of the dragon boat and set off across the lake. The water was like glass, the sky was absolutely clear, there was a huge moon and lots of stars. We stopped in the middle of the lake, passed the plastic glasses and the bottle of Bailey's down the boat and had a toast to the end of another great season. Not sure what I'll do with my Tuesday and Thursday nights now. Just hibernate for the winter like I usually do I guess.

Since Aunty Jo and Aunty Kathy are at the coast this weekend, I'm going to see Alex's soccer game tomorrow morning. Then on Sunday we'll all be busy at the Aids Walk. Unfortunately the forecast for Sunday is rain but maybe that will change.

Gotta run now.

All my love
Aunty Janet
