P.S. You can't flush the toilet paper because the plumbing is bad. You put your used toilet paper in the trashcan. Lovely.

So here is a tip from me: Don't squat!! Just put your feet on both sides and stand...your hips will like this a lot better. It isn't as bad as it sounds!
Okay, the bathroom doesn't look nearly as bad as I imagined it. Pardon my ignorance here Erin but I just have to ask this; which way do you face when you use the thing, towards the "flusher" or the other way? Stupid question but my curiosity's got the best of me.
Can't wait to hear from you and Luc about your first day of class.
Uncle Dave wants to know how much the janitor gets paid to clean that toilet? Is there no door on the stall, we couldn't tell from the picture.

It took me a few minutes to figure out, and i hope i got it right, but you face the flusher. And Uncle Dave, you're so lucky. By the end of the day, there is pee EVERYWHERE, sooooooo nasty.
Really? Pee everywhere? You would think the locals would know how to use it properly and get the pee in the right spot.
At least it's a porcelain hole in the wall and not just a hole. My aunt and cousin to a train tour across China and had holes with a 4 inch diameter to aim in while the train was moving!
